Acceptance of Conditions of Use

(“RCI”) is the owner and administrator of the website located at
http//:www.rcinet.ca (“the Website”). This usage agreement stipulates
conditions for accessing and using the Website. Whenever you visit the
Website, you agree to be bound by the conditions of this agreement.
Should you choose not to agree to these conditions, you must abstain
from accessing or using the Website.
Submission of Short Films or Multimedia Documents
submitting any short film or multimedia document, you acknowledge and
guarantee that all content in said short film or multimedia document is
your property; was created by you prior to submission and is free of
copyright. You guarantee that you hold all rights required to grant this
authorization for said short film or multimedia document. You also
hereby attest that said short film or multimedia document was produced
in compliance with all relevant legislations and regulations; does not
violate any third-party rights, such as privacy or use of image and does
not contain any defamatory elements.
In submitting any short
film or multimedia document to the Website, you grant RCI and
CBC/Radio-Canada a worldwide licence,
non-exclusive, and free of charge, authorizing: usage,
translation, alteration, modification, transmission, distribution, and
public display or performance of said short film or multimedia document,
on any existing or future medium. Radio-Canada/CBC will not use the short film or multimedia document for any commercial use without obtaining the consent of the author.
Other than the abovementioned
licensing conditions, you i) agree to waive all moral rights to said
short film or multimedia document to RCI and CBC/Radio-Canada; and ii)
consent to the use of your name in association with said short film or
RCI reserves the right to refuse any short film or multimedia document that it deems unacceptable or offensive.

articles, written materials, photos, images, illustrations, audio clips,
video clips, software and codes (collectively, the website content) is
protected under Canadian and international laws, including copyright,
and becomes the property of RCI, its licensors, or the party recognized
as the content supplier. Moreover, the Website is protected by copyright
legislations as a collection and/or compilation under Canadian or
international laws. You must comply with all other copyright notices, as
well as any information and restrictions on or within content
accessible via the Website. ANY USE, REPRODUCTION, ALTERATION,
MODIFICATION, PUBLIC PERFORMANCE OR DISPLAY, UPLOADING OR POSTING ONTO
THE INTERNET, TRANSMISSION, REDISTRIBUTION OR OTHER EXPLOITATION OF THE
WEBSITE OR OF ANY CONTENT, WHETHER IN WHOLE OR IN PART, OTHER THAN
EXPRESSLY SET OUT HEREIN, IS PROHIBITED WITHOUT THE EXPRESS WRITTEN
