Become one of our World Filmmakers

Deadline extended to June 8 th 2012!!!
Radio Canada International is looking for new talent in 2011-2012 and invites all Canadian university and college students to produce a short film around the theme of Cultural Crossroads. Whatever your university or college program, whether it’s journalism, film, theatre, communications, multimedia, or even … business! Become part of Radio Canada International’s World Filmmaker showcase as RCI Vision expands its film repertory with your participation.

Radio Canada International invites you to bear witness to the social, cultural, demographic and artistic transitions taking place across the country, by submitting your cinematographic post card. Some examples? A film about internal and physical migrations, about your integration in a new place? A short film about exile, identity, intertwining cultures, mixed couples? Tell us about yourself, about your parents! Or still yet, produce a short work about a Canadian personality whatever their discipline might be. And choose your genre: Fiction, report, documentary, animation, portrait, experimental. The screen is yours!

Make this part of your term paper or feel free to send in something you produced a while ago. As long as it fits with the theme. The maximum length permitted is 30 minutes and we welcome films that are closer to ten minutes.
Be part of RCI Vision’s project, become a World Filmmaker for the Cultural Crossraods project.
